I can get this right!

I know I can get this working out thing right. More importantly I have people wanting me to succeed! Pushing me to "keep moving forward" (Meet the Robinsons)...

Well if you haven't guessed by now no yesterday I never made it to work out. My daughter took forever to go to sleep and than at night hubby and me were spending some time together. I did get a bunch of stuff done when my daughter fell asleep but none of them was a workout.

Well I am over here taking it one day at a time. Today is a walk, I hope cause it is absolutely freezing outside!

Yesterday I did fantastic with eating, I had aprox 1500 cal, give or take 50. I was a little low on water but not by much. I didn't workout but I was able to stay relaxed most of the day. I did read which soo made me feel better.

I got this new book, "The secret desires of a soccer mom." I am sooo getting the biggest kick out of this book! I love to read and it makes me feel more relaxed in my own reality.

Yet, I didn't work out. SO, today will be a new day! Oh, I have a great idea, every nap time I put the baby down and go use the treadmill, I will be right close to her but I will be in a different room so the lights can stay off! And than after I am done, just hop right into the shower! Oh I am trying this today, despite my walk tonight! I just have to move everything so I can get to the treadmill. I will do it! I know I get a high from being on the treadmill so, today is the perfect day to start! Now, why have I never though of that before? I can even set up my laptop on top of the w/d and go on exercisetv.tv Oh, how stupid I can be! Ok, well everyday is a new day so I will keep working hard!

  1. great idea on the exercise..it's like when you have a very small baby and never get any sleep...they tell you to sleep when the baby sleeps. I didn't listen with my first one, with the second I listened. I felt much more rested.
sneak in the exercise when you can, some is better than none. keep up the great work.

  2. THAT is EXACTLY when I work out. Daughter goes to sleep anywhere between 11:30 and 1pm. If it's early, I get heaps done. If it's 1pm, not much gets done. At 1:05pm I listen to a favourite radio show for about 25 min, drinking water during that to prepare for my workout. Then I tidy up quick as I can, and get to my work-out quick as I can. Lately it's been 2pm, one set takes about 18 min. Then hop in the shower, do a little prep for dinner (chopping veggies, or perhaps dishes I hadn't got to) then wake up Gracie at 10 to 3pm to get Lanaya from school - then again 6 weeks summer vacation starts yesterday... time for a new summer vaca schedule! Oh, I feel a blog post coming on.

I hope you're doing well. I'm so proud of you for taking the time to read and GREAT job on 1500 cals! I've given up on counting... ooooh, maybe I should start, darn-it... darn-it darn-it, DARN IT! I don't wanna!!!! But I should... rrrrrrr

LOL, sorry bout that, just talking to myself there. Congrats Chupsie. Good luck with nap-time workouts. It's the only thing that works for me!

  3. Good idea with the treadmill. Don't spend much time thinking about it, just do it. Before you know it, you'll be in the habit.

And feeling and looking better. Good luck!

  4. I need to get me a treadmill. I am lucky and have a spacious living room and hallway so sometimes--when I don't want to go out and brave the weather--I just jog circles around the inside of the house, lol!

  6. Hope things are doing well, cuz I've been slack :( That's okay though... I'll tell ya, this battle is not easy. I feel like throwing in the towel until New Years, but I really can't go back to who I was before... although my food issues are coming back. It's like I give an inch and my appetite takes a mile! I know I have to be strict with myself, but it's hard. Not sure why I'm telling you, thought maybe you'd understand. Hope you're doing better than me. I haven't given in, but it's slow going to maintain right now. The time and the season I suppose. Anyway, Merry Christmas! Have a good one!
