so yes its that tom again, and I am proud to say that I am at 148.5, I am at my weekly goal from tues, and I have a feeling even though im a lb up I will lose that quickly by next week, my goal for next week is 147... just as a maintain and cause of the bloating and extra cal's I need during my period week.

I wonder how many lbs you actually bloat up during your period... or is it different for everyone ( I guess so right?) so anyway, I made a yummy apple cobbler last night! yummo! oh and than my brain said this morning why not add some of it to your yogurt... mmmm was it good! the only problem was I though of it after I added my sugar to my yogurt so I had extra sugar that I didn't need, but I didn't have my toast to save on some cal.... So I think breakfast was about 300 cal, not too bad.

  1. I hate TOM! Hopefully the bloat goes away fast!

    Check out my blog for FINAL say in what we do to Team Dasher!

  2. I hate it hate it hate it too. It always totally stalls my losses right beforehand. A strange upside to it starting, though, is that it's nice to see the massive weight loss in the first few days. Bleed away the pounds!

  3. Mmmmm . . . apple cobbler . . . . ::drools::

    Everyone gains different during their period but as an upside -- It's just water!!! So it goes away fast. ;)

  4. Yes, TOM is a big pain while trying to lose weight. I have to tell you though, even in maintenance it does the same thing. I always gain a pound or two before hand, even though I haven't overeaten. Then it comes right back down!

    TOM never ends. . . .

  5. Hey fellow GAGer,

    Just checking out how you're doing... and you're doing great! For me personally, I can go up by as much as 3 lbs. But it drops back down in a few days.. damn tom!

    Don't forget about our current 365-mile Challenge... please see my my current blog for official rules:

    Keep it up!

  6. Okay, are we living parallel lives or what? I was thinking the same thing about TOM, which I'm on now, but I am losing weight right through it, and normally I don't notice any scale change, but everyone else reports a gain during TOM... must be different for everyone. Also, I made an Apple Crisp recipe I'd never done before last night, and it was so yummy. However, I made a small batch, half the recipe, and pretty much forced the family to eat it all last night so there wouldn't be any leftovers :) It wasn't actually that high on calories though, using extra light cream and not too much sugar. It was lower than, say, chocolate cake or something else. Anyway, have a good weekend!
